To install the Tivoli Storage Manager 6.3 or later server, you can use the graphical installation wizard, the console wizard, or the command line in silent mode. The Tivoli Storage Manager client application programming interface (API), the database (DB2), and the Global Security Kit (GSKit) are automatically installed when you select the server component.

Installing TSM Server 6.3 on Windows Video Tutorial
- Log on as an administrator and go to the directory where TSM Server 6.3 code is located.
- Double click the package to extract the package. It will take some time for extraction.
- Check the prerequisite before installing TSM Server.
